At Illuminesse, we recognise that acne can be a frustrating and difficult condition to overcome. There are many factors which can contribute to this condition, hormone fluctuations due to puberty or menopause, stress, increased bacteria levels and medications to name a few. Our clinic can customise a program for you to target the multiple causes of acne. Both our in-office and at-home programs have consistently proven highly effective. Cosmelan Active System
Cosmelan Active System is designed to eliminate excessive oil production in the skin, exfoliate the build up of dead cells which often are associated with acne and diminish bacteria levels, bringing balance to the skin.
Cosmelan Active System consists of two phases. It is imperative that both be used according to direction to achieve complete success. Phase 1 – For professional use only. Cosmelan Active Mask is applied in office and left on the skin for a period of time which is determined by the professional according to skin color and type. The mask is removed with Cosmelan Active Cleansing Gel and followed by an application of the Cosmelan Active Maintenance Cream. Phase 2 – At home maintenance. Cosmelan Active Maintenance Cream - is applied daily after cleansing; its active formulation eliminates dead cell build up, reduces oil production and continues to even out skin discolorations left by blemishes.Used daily it will improve the appearance of blemishes and reduce clogged pores.
Cosmelan Active Spot Treatment - may be used several times per day as needed directly on blemishes. Its repairing and anti-inflammatory ingredients will improve and speed healing of skin imperfections. Cosmelan Active Facial Gel Cleanser – may be used day and night to remove make-up, eliminate excessive oil and leave the skin fresh and balanced.
